Met My Expectations..., October 24, 2014

This story leaves off after the death of his mother, where The Great Prince (his father) is taking care of Bambi. This movie is totally perfect for a daughter/father son/father kind of movie. He doesn't know how to take care, or even treat a child in that matter. And his own son? They've never even talked to each other: I'm kind of thinking Bambi's dad was scared he was going to do something to offend Bambi, or even make it look like he was a bad dad. Then Bambi get's all worked up about getting his antlers because another fawn named Ronno already has them, in which Bambi feels like he's not maturing fast enough. It's amazing how much Bambi's father changes in the movie, and how Bambi learns how great it is to have him. It's a wonderful, heartwarming story that will stay with you forever. 

   When I first watched it, I was a little nervous how it would turn out. Sequels, after all, sometimes ruin the first film. But this film didn't for me: in fact, it boosted my love of Bambi. It helps you overcome bullies, and all thats needed from a father to make a kid happy is love. Bambi's father loved Bambi, but didn't know how to tell him, or treat him in a manner that told Bambi that. And all the characters are back! The animation was awesome, and the film makers didn't change the main characters personalitys in a bit. Bambi is still the same curious fawn that he was in the first movie, and Faline is still the gentle, sweet Faline she was in the first movie.

Great animation, great story plot, and the characters didn't change bit in the least! Trust me, you'll love this movie almost as much as you loved the first one.
