You are Baloo, an overweight grey bear who is a cargo pilot for an air cargo company called Higher for Hire. Right now you are flying over the Rock �n Roll Mountains on your way to Port Talbot to deliver aspirin. Your loyal navigator and best friend, a twelve-year-old brown bear cub named Kit Cloudkicker, is sitting in the co-pilot�s seat with a map spread over his lap. You are happy. The sun is shining, you got a one hundred dollar bonus in your paycheck, and you�re even an hour ahead of schedule. To top it all off, this morning you came up with the great idea of making weekly payments of ten dollars to buy back the Sea Duck. Amazingly, your boss agreed to it. However, you overlooked the teensy-weensy fact that it will take you ninety-six years to pay it off. Your boss didn�t. You are blissfully ignorant of that little detail. Therefore, life is good. You grin at Kit across the cockpit, kick back, place your feet on the steering yoke, and begin to hum your favorite tune. Suddenly, from out of nowhere a bank of thick fog enshrouds your orange trimmed, yellow Conwing L-16 seaplane. Your vision of the mountain range is blocked by the fog. You... |
