We've recently started a petition for getting TaleSpin comics released!

With the recent success of the Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers and Ducktales comics, TaleSpin deserved to have a monthly comics series as well - but it unfortunately won't happen at Boom Studios (the current publisher who had the rights), as they officially declined to be able to get the licence from Disney, even though they were interested.
But now, the rights are moving back to Disney/Marvel, and this becomes a possibility again!
With a little "push", it may be enough to finally get new TaleSpin adventures, after 20 years of waiting!
I usually don't publish this kind of news outside of TaleSpin Source, but it would really be great if the "Animation Sourcers" could help me by signing this!

On a related note, with the recent releases of "All Dogs Go To Heaven" and "Anastasia" on Bluray, I thought it could be a good thing to re-send the "Special Edition Balto DVD" petition? (and maybe rename it to "Balto Bluray" now?) It's been a year and a half, and we didn't get any answer for that one.

I started watching tailspin recently and it was awesome.  I hope

What a negativism, i just can't believe some people don't like
TaleSpin, if you just wanna say "TaleSpin Sucks", better keep your

If it doesn't work (which is a high probability but a pessimistic
vision, we're not asking for the moon, only for comics; and DWD, CDRR,
DT and Gargoyles all had comics, so it IS possible! even if it
wouldn't happen before a few years), another goal of the petition is
also to bring more fans. (and don't forget the other important part,
our fan comics, which IS happening whatever the result of the petition
is!) I'm disappointed by the reaction of some of you, giving up without even trying. Sure, if you stick to this attitude, it will never happen.  Do we agree on at least one thing : we WANT new TaleSpin
comics, don't we? If yes, could you show some more optimism? |
