After a painfully long hiatus, there has been some news from Alex Hirsch's twitter! While it's more of a general date instead of a specific date, and it's not 100% official at this point, it's great to finally get some news after months of nothing.

It was posted with a screencap, so it may be a bit spoilery: So be warned!

Now, why it may be exciting to finally have some news on this, we can not be 100% certain this is official, for the following reasons:

• There has been no official press release confirming this date (to our knoweledge)
• A while ago, before the beginning of Season 2, Alex Hirsch released a very convincing fake screensot, that showed a younger McGucket writing the journals- which, we all know now, was proven to be fake.

And so given these two facts, we're quite skeptical. But of course: only time will tell!
