Let's get started! First of all, there has been a LOT of updates for Sourcecast. When last we left our beloved podcast, Episode 8 had just been posted on Youtube. I am now happy to say that Episode 8 has been uploaded to Mypodcast, our hosting site, and can be downloaded on iTunes. Not only that, but a new feature has been added to Sourcecast: The Skultacular Special!

Skultacular Specials are the new "interview" part of our podcast, as in the past it has been proven that getting several people together for a Skype call is tedious at best. So far, there have been two Skultacular Specials released. The first one involves me interviewing Dragon Tamer, and in the second I interviewed Conay and Jersey Captain.

That aside, Messer Games has made a major contribution to the site: he has created a theme song! Click on the video below to see it. Or hear it, rather.

And last but not least, an update for animation at the Academy Awards. Congratulations to Toy Story 3, which won Oscars for Best Animated Film and Best Original Song: "We Belong Together". Unfortunately, this means that neither How to Train Your Dragon, Tangled, nor The Illusionist won any Academy Awards. But at least they still got nominated. Congratulations!

Yeah, from what AC told me, Rusty's computer "ate" episode 7, and he's now trying to get the computer to spill its guts and "puke out" Episode 7. Episode 9 is due to feature a reunion of the four main Sourcecasters. Also, Solaris has talked about a State Of Animation speech and has even brought up the idea of getting the Sourcecasters involved. So far, Aniu and Skul have expressed interest. There's no word yet from Swords or Rusty, but hopefully we'll know soon enough.
