Because Ice Age 5: Collision Course was met with such a terrible reception, it took a toll with awards. Award ceremonies did not recognize the film, and it wasn't even nominated a single Annie Award. The only award it ended up being nominated for, and eventually won, was a Ischia Dubbing Award at the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival.
