Do you think I need to introduce it to you? The Lion King is one of the greatest cinematographic success of history, and even the greatest success of the Disney Company. A masterpiece.
The Lion King is often seen as the best animated film ever made, and although the opinions may differ on this, it surely has great qualities.
The story of The Lion King is the story of a lion cub's journey to adulthood and 
acceptance of his royal destiny. Son of Mufasa, Simba witnesses the murder of his father by Scar, who drives him away from the kingdom. Lost in the jungle, he meets the famous Timon & Pumba, where he will learn "Hakuna Matata". But he will soon find out that he has a greater destiny than that...
The film has become a worldwide box office success, and even led recently to a Broadway musical. It was re-released in American theaters in 3D on September 16, 2011, again topping the box office.

Greetings Animation Source! We are very pleased to announce the launch of our latest English Source site, and our first of 2016, Bolt Source! This site is dedicated to the Academy Award-nominated 48th animation feature created by Walt Disney Animation Studios which was released in 2008.

Hullo there! Been down about all the inactivity on Animation Source lately?
Then I have some good news for you! Over on Robin Hood Source, we've begun an effort at expanding and revamping existing material (or the lack thereof). It all started with an original request by site boosters Windhowler and XPennydisneyloverx to help them update the existing official character pages, and to add ones for the remaining official characters which were never done. While the fine folks at Illumination Entertainment prepare the release of The Secret Life of Pets, more animated features have been in the works in the company’s Santa Monica and Paris studios including Despicable Me 3 for 2017, and one for this year’s Christmas. The latter is simply known as Sing, which has just been given a teaser trailer for us to get a taste of what’s to come.
