Princess & The Frog is not only a return to traditional animation, it's also a return to musicals films! As such, the film features a great number of songs, which was to be expected considering the directors of the film are the same as for Little Mermaid and Aladdin. (which songs have become famous classics!)

The official soundtrack for Princess & The Frog is composed by Randy Newman, already famous for his work on animated films like Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., Cars, Cats Don't Dance...
