RELATIONSHIPS ~~~
Parents: Unnamed
Siblings: Unnamed (open)
Other family members: unknown
Friends:
Lakota Shaman - The kindly older of the tribe that was the first to see Bueller's kind heart, underneath his apathetic exterior due to the yearling's worry for his pregnant mother. The man, his name considered sacred, took Bueller as his own, teaching him and tutoring him in a way that no shaman before had. He puts full trust and strength in the stallion, especially as his own body begins failing him. Bueller serves the shaman faithfully, and has learned much from him, which comes in handy with the number of times that Bueller stumbles across others who need his help.
Rain - Rain's paint coat made her a favorite while growing up, but it was her gentle, fiery spirit that made her and Bueller close. Being a grumpy, unsocial creature, Rain was one of the only ones kind even to befriend him, though she often had other friends to occupy her time with. But, from a distance, she kept an eye on Bueller, even as adults, and it made her smile to see him such a favorite among the foals and fillies. The two were always kind to each other, until she was taken away by that wild buckskin. After that, Bueller never saw her again.
Paiton - Paiton was captured by the humans when she was young, and though she escaped to be near her sister, when she came of age, she returned, drawn in by her curiosity of the strange creatures. Paiton was always a soft spoken, level headed mare, even when she was young, and was one of the first youngsters attracted to a yearling Bueller. Paiton was traded to the Sioux not long after being adopted by the Lakota, however, but she and Bueller are still friendly whenever the two tribes meet to trade.
Enemies:
Smokefoot- A cocky stallion with a bad attitude, Smokefoot is a bully to the other stallions, and flocked to by the mares. Having been traded between the Lakota tribe and the neighboring Sioux tribe, he was determined to make himself a hero among the mares. The Lakota mares, however, are not as easily tricked as the many other mares that he had met, and many found him humorous, but not threatening. Angered and convinced to be worshiped by the lovely paints, Smoke arrogantly challenged the other stallions, and though Bueller did not participate in the battles, he was the one to lead the revolution against the trouble maker when he learned of his past: Smokefoot, if that was even his real name, had been traded and traded between tribes, having caused trouble in each one. The two were engaged in an epic battle, but the humans broke of the fight, punishing both stallions, and chose to keep the stallion, though he was separated from the mares. For good. Bueller and Smoke continue to be enemies.

PERSONALITY INFORMATION ~~~
Personality: Bueller is quiet, solitary, and independent. He likes being left alone, but has an odd way of attracting those that need some kind of help, which he's obliged to give. Being a realist and fair judge, as well as having a blunt sense of humor, Bueller is a favorite among the foals and fillies of the tribe, which he doesn't mind, usually allowing them to do as they wish, within certain boundaries, of course. Bueller secretly hates that title of "nurse mare", but is willing to put up with the title if it means being able to be "swarmed" by the little ones. As far as adult horses go, he tends to stay out of the drama and remain unattached, though it's not all that unusual to see him and a mare from his foalhood spending some casual time together. He also prefers to avoid the other stallions, but isn't seen as an outcast among them.
Likes: The foals and fillies of the tribe, and being left alone. He will also defend any of his young "groupies" to the death without hesitation.
Dislikes: Attention, drama, and bullies.
Fears: Being alone forever, which is why he protects his relationship with the younger members of the tribe.
BIOGRAPHY ~~~
Foal: Bueller was one of the first foals born in the herd, and was surrounded by fillies for his first month, making him shy and a loner. When the other foals came along, he was swarmed by them, but quickly left alone for the much more friendly fillies, which he didn't mind in the least. For the beginning of his life, he thought that all fillies were silly, and that all foals acted silly around fillies, so he was glad to be left alone by both groups. Well, accept for one. Rain was always the kindest of the youngsters, and she alone was Bueller's only friend for much of his life.
Yearling: As he grew, Bueller's short, stocky muscles began to develop, and the other yearlings of both genders became more interested in him. Unlike his square frame work, unfortunately, his personality did not fill out, and he had grown quite accustomed to being alone, so the season of his popularity was short lived. Though he was not popular, he was not lonely.
Bueller cared for his mother deeply, especially when she became pregnant. The birth was complicated; her body had been scarred from caring such a big boned foal the years earlier, and her health dwindeled. Bueller never left her side, and though he was initially mocked by the other young stallions, they soon stopped teasing him when the village shaman began favoring Bueller. Knowing of the yearling's heart, he taught and tutored the yearling like no shaman had before. With Bueller's help, his mother lived, as did his new half-sister.
Adult: Bueller is now a strong, solitary stallion, to whom the foals and fillies flock, and trouble seems to follow. Almost everywhere he goes Bueller stumbles upon someone who needs his help. He continues to serve his shaman, and protects the youngest members of the tribe.
Bueller watched a few of the braves ride off one day, his eyes focused on the beautiful, powerful paint, Rain. Once she left tribe land, he continued on his day, like normal. A few days later, however, Rain and the other braves returned to the tribe, with a strange buckskin stallion. Like always, Bueller watched on as the stallion and Rain grew closer, suspicious of the wild spirit. As the days turned into weeks, and months, however, Bueller and the other horses noted the relationship between the two growing closer and closer.
One day, the tribe was attacked. Despite his large size, Bueller was never trained as a warrior, but he still knew the sounds of a struggle. Charging over the hill with a few of his groupies at his heels, Bueller quickly ordered them to stay close and sped for his shaman, who lived outside of the boundaries of the village. Calling loudly for the other foals and fillies, Bueller watched them race for him, gathering his group and escorting the shaman and the other villagers towards the river. Swimming into the river countless times, Bueller helped woman and children across it and to the hills on the other side.
Days later, he was taken by Little Creek to the base of the river, where he found Rain's body, who had been shot, and nearly drowned. Still too weak to stand, the mare was determind to live, but needed his help. Lowering his massive frame into the water below Rain, he waited until she had pulled herself onto his back, and forced himself up, carrying the paint back to the village.
Staying by Rain's side when Little Creek disappeared, Bueller was Rain's strength as she healed, her strength finally returning. Little Creek returned weeks later, alongside the buckskin from before. Secretly disappointed to see him return, Bueller eyed Rain, who was being loved by some village woman. Noting that she had not yet seen her human, he was torn between emotions. When Little Creek's whistle called however, Bueller found himself between the mare that had meant so much to him, and the stallion that meant so much to her. He painfully moved on, allowing her to pass.
Bueller ignored the joyous cries coming from his friend, and watched from the hill tops as she and the stallion ran away, together. Watching on, Bueller was approached by one of his young followers. Turning away, the stallion left her there.
Now, Bueller continues to serve his shaman, and mentor the youngest members of the tribe. He doesn't have any interest in love, and doesn't give it any thought. The lives of the yearlings that surround him are his focus, and he pours his everything into them. In his lonely, dry humored kind of way.
