This lovely mare, was born on a beautiful sunset day. As her head broke out, and her first ragged breath announced her living. The sky became a beautiful reddish pink, like a sunset. Her mother was taken by the liberty of the sunset at this time. Liberty, that was it, that would be her beautiful filly's new name.

Liberty grew at an astounding pace, she was weaned, not at the usual yearling age, but younger, at 6 months. Her mother was awestruck and she nicknamed her beautiful daughter, Freedom, like the Freedom to grow however big you want. Liberty, loved her nickname and she loved her mother. When she reached 2 years of age, she left her mother, as she traveled further away, she ran into a young, barely a month old, probably younger roan like herself. She nickered to the young foal, and to her surprise, it nickered back, weakly. She nuzzled the beautiful foal, and was heart-broken at why its mother was there. She turned, reared and neighed, bringing forth after another distress whinny, an old mama goat, who had just lost what would be her last kid.

Liberty talked to the goat, named Cranberry, and she agreed to help the young mare to raise the foal. In a matter of minutes, Cran had the foal nursing from her and Liberty stood there, pacing as she waited for the feeding to end, just to see if it would work. After another 8 minutes, the foal let out another nicker, a slightly stronger one.

"Hope, My little hope" She murmured as she nuzzled the filly. She saw beautiful round blue eyes blink up at her and a single word uttered from her tiny muzzle. "Momma?" She snorted, taken aback as she was adressed that way. She smiled again, her eyes locked with the tiny fillys.

"Yes my daughter" She said. After 3 months of nursing, Hope was up and running, having fun. Cran had told her, that the young filly was only 4 months of age, she had been going on one month of age when they found her. 

A year had passed after she had found the young filly. It was still a mystery that her "daughter" had survived that long, that month. She still didn't want her to leave and Hope was stuck to her "mother's" side. Cran was the aunt of the relationship and traveled with the pair and Liberty ran into the Sorraia herd, and their handsome lead stallion, Nine Eleven...
